The important things to remember when playing against the Boros deck is that it is a deck heavily reliant on keeping it's landfall creatures in play and attacking, if you can slow down/prevent that you can defeat them rather easily. It is also very important to remember that for the most part their best creatures have 1 toughness on their turn (you can also kill the creatures in response to the landfall trigger going on the stack). Boros has recently adapted the Stoneforge/Sword of Feast and Famine or Sword of Body and Mind tactic which gives them a bit more reach, however, in doing so they've removed some of their burn (or in some cases their creatures). It is important to keep in mind that this is a deck that does a LOT of damage early on, but can run out of steam rather quickly, thus if you're required to you can throw out chump blockers simply to stay alive. A good boros player will always mulligan if they don't have a turn 1 or turn 2 drop (which should be a given since almost none of their creatures cost more than that), however, this also means that in many games if you can kill their first 1 or 2 creatures..they will be left with very little to apply pressure with.
